Research & Development and; Application activities are located at each of the 2 wings with shared / overlapping functions like Exhibition Hall, Administration etc being located at the junction. Water body helps soften the exaggerated scale of the courtyard circumscribed by the colonnade and capped by the space frame. A Green House and the provision for a Tissue Culture Laboratory, also, constitute the project Rajagopalan Palamadai has also served as External Expert (on behalf of UN FAO’s IAEA) for the Design and Construction of Bio-Fertilizers Research, Development and Application Centre at Mymensingh, Bangladesh
